Shelley Berlinsky - education and experience
I have trained extensively and gained both a diploma in Chinese medicine and a doctorate in Western medicine (MD, LicAc, LicOHM). In fact I started my professional journey as a Western medical doctor specialising in psychiatry.
After a few years practicing Western medicine, I decided to retrain as a Chinese practitioner and in the last 20 years I practice only acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
I have conducted research in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and I am a clinic supervisor in the City College of Acupuncture in London.
I am registered with The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). I am also an associate practitioner of the Arthritic Association and adhere to the conduct of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
My special interest is female health and infertility (including acupuncture alongside IVF cycle and acupuncture during pregnancy).
